About the project
Coastal San Diego is hard on metal. Chloride laden air attacks carbon steel and its coatings continuously, and railings take the worst of it because they are outdoors, handled constantly and expected to look good.
Stainless steel changes that equation when it is fabricated correctly. Grade selection appropriate to the actual exposure, welding procedures suited to the material, contamination control during fabrication and proper post weld cleaning and passivation are all necessary. Skip any of them and the assembly develops surface rust that owners understandably assume means they bought the wrong material.
Our stainless railing work spans oceanfront residences, coastal restaurants and hotels, marina and waterfront structures, pool and spa areas, and commercial properties near the water throughout the county.
