What we build

One steel subcontractor for the frame, the stairs and everything in between

General contractors call us because a single scope covers detailing, fabrication, delivery, erection and the punch list. Fewer subcontractors on a scope means fewer gaps between them.

Structural Steel Fabrication

Columns, beams, moment frames, braced frames and embeds fabricated in our Spring Valley shop to approved shop drawings, then delivered on a sequence that matches your crane schedule.

Why general contractors keep calling

A steel scope that closes cleanly is worth more than the lowest number

Steel sits on the critical path. When the frame slips, the deck slips, the roof slips, and the interior trades stack up behind it. We have spent close to thirty years learning where those delays come from, and most of them start long before the first weld.

They start with a detail nobody resolved, an anchor bolt layout that did not match the foundation, a connection the engineer had not approved, or a load of steel that showed up in the wrong sequence for the crane. Our process is built to catch those items early, in coordination, where fixing them costs a phone call instead of a week.

In house fabrication

Your material is cut, fit and welded in our own shop, so we control quality and schedule instead of chasing a broker.

Detailing that anticipates the field

Shop drawings are produced with erection sequence, crane access and tolerance stack in mind.

Crews who have seen the condition

Occupied buildings, tight urban sites, night work, phased shutdowns and coastal exposure are routine for us.

Documentation inspectors accept

Welding procedures, welder qualifications, mill certifications and inspection coordination are part of the job.

Project types

Large steel packages are the work we are built for

Multi story frames, stadium and venue improvements, structured parking, distribution and manufacturing facilities, schools, medical buildings, hospitality and large custom homes. If the package carries real tonnage and a real schedule, it belongs in our shop.

Commercial

Retail centers, office buildings, restaurants, auto dealerships, hotels and mixed use developments throughout the region.

Industrial

Warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, equipment platforms, mezzanines and process support structures.

Institutional

Schools, campuses, civic buildings, medical offices and public works packages with prevailing wage and inspection requirements.

Custom Residential

Hillside and canyon homes, long span great rooms, exposed steel features, stairs, railings and view corridor framing.

Common questions

What contractors ask us first

Do you fabricate and erect, or only one of the two?

Both, as a single scope. Detailing, fabrication, delivery and erection are handled under one contract with one point of accountability. That is the arrangement most general contractors prefer, because it removes the seam where a fabricator blames an erector and the schedule quietly slips.

How large a steel package can you take on?

Our shop is set up for substantial commercial, industrial and institutional packages, including multi story frames, venue improvements, structured parking, distribution facilities and full campus buildings. Smaller scopes such as a single stair tower or mezzanine are welcome as well, and we price them with the same process.

Can you price a project that is still in design?

Yes. Early budget pricing is one of the most useful things we do. Give us schematic or design development drawings and we will return a tonnage estimate, a budget range and a short list of decisions that would move the number in either direction before the design is locked.

Are you set up for public works and prevailing wage projects?

Yes. We are licensed, bonded and insured, and we carry the documentation practices that public agency work requires, including certified payroll coordination, welding procedure specifications, welder qualification records and special inspection support.

What does a typical schedule look like from award to erection?

It varies with tonnage, connection complexity and mill availability, but a common commercial sequence runs two to four weeks for detailing and approval, three to six weeks for fabrication, and then erection on the dates your superintendent needs. We build that timeline with you at award instead of discovering it later.

Ready to price your steel package?

Send plans, specifications and your bid date. We will confirm receipt, review the scope and return a written proposal you can hold a subcontractor to.
